More pics of older sculpts....

Here is a full view of the white Santa. He was made in 2007 and is now living happily in De Lier, Holland!

The larger dolls range from 18 to 20 inches tall and are one of a kind originals.  Each have an inner armature, handmade to match the action the character is performing. The head starts out as a ball of aluminum foil, covered with polymer clay and carefully hand sculpted. The eyes are German glass and the hair is Tibetan mohair. The hands and feet have armatures of their own, each finger having an inner core of copper wire.
All of each character’s clothing is hand made and sewn by me. I comb the internet, flea markets and specialty stores for the miniature accessories and have been known to sculpt a doll around an accessory, such as my Motorcycle Santa!
Each of the larger dolls take anywhere from one to three weeks to complete, depending on the complexity of the piece.

One of my favorite Santa sculpts.....

I just love this Santa. He is one of my favorite sculpts to date. He was made as a Christmas gift for my hubby's mom and dad a few years back. He was a twofold experiment; he was the first ever I had done totally in white and the first I had ever shipped overseas. He made it just fine!

I will work on getting some more images up in the next few days of my previous work. Who knows...I may even get some new stuff done!
